TERMS & CONDITIONS
You must play against your opponent through the EA FC24 Ultimate Team Friendlies with the competitive setting turned on. PS5/PS5 version
Competitors will need to add each other as friends on PSN, It may take a few minutes for your friends list to update and show up on the EA FC Ultimate Team Friendlies section
All games will use UT default settings with the competitive setting turned on, including:
Half Length: 6 Minutes
Legacy defending is strictly prohibited; only advanced and tactical defending are allowed
Pause rules are governed by in-game mechanics
Coaches are allowed, but players must submit all the information about their coach before the live show.
All players MUST message their opponent via the message system on PSN.
A player has 20 minutes from when they have an opponent to start the match; failure to do so will result in a forfeit.
It is both player's responsibility to check Gamertags/PSNs before the fixture is played to make sure that all players are eligible to play
A game played for two 6-minute halves (90 minutes in-game time) with the winner taking that game ○ In the case of a draw, players must rematch with Golden Goal rules (The first player to score a goal wins).
All Training/Attribute cards are strictly prohibited.
Loan Players are Allowed. In case of a dispute, players must file a complaint to the organizer before the match is complete.
All EA FC Pro Cards (99-rated cards given to Football Professionals in their own likeness) are strictly prohibited.
Squad requirement:
All Competitors must play as an authentic Bundesliga club or Bundesliga 2 club, with team members currently associated with a Bundesliga or Bundesliga 2 team for the 23/24 season. Competitors may select any footballer from their chosen club for the starting 11 and substitutes. The use of non-Bundesliga/non-Bundesliga 2 players or kits is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, Competitors must use the Bundesliga Official Match Ball from Derbystar and a Bundesliga stadium for all games unless otherwise specified. Competitors must also wear the official outfit of a Bundesliga or Bundesliga 2 Club's football team during the VBL International Series 2024 Final, as provided by Bundesliga.
Competitors are strictly forbidden from employing formations featuring five defenders and three defenders at the back, inclusive of but not limited to the subsequent arrangements for their team:

*Any competitors discovered utilizing a prohibited formation during a match will suffer an immediate match forfeit. Repeated infractions will lead to the disqualification from the tournament.

Stage 1: April 4th to April 6th, 2024
Qualifiers - Online Tournament
Participation is open to all residents of the GCC countries mentioned above.
Matches will be played in a Best-of-1 format.
Played in a single elimination format, losing a match results in elimination from the tournament.
Stage 2: April 7th, 2024
Regional Grand Finals - Online Tournament with broadcast coverage
Playoffs will be held online and be broadcasted
Played in a single elimination format
The round of the 8 player bracket will continue to be held in a Best-of-1 elimination format
The Semi-Finals, Grand Finals and Bronze Match will be played in a home and away match setting.
Competitors must be legal residents or citizens of the countries specified above.
Competitors must be 18 years or older in order to participate from the tournament starting date.
Any competitors under the age of 18 will be deemed not eligible to participate in this tournament.
Any account that has been previously banned from any game listed in our tournament/event for any misconduct will not be permitted to join and will result in immediate disqualification.
During the online registration process, the players will have to include a valid GCC mobile number which must be active for players to receive an OTP on.
All Players must record their gameplay during the duration of the tournament, If the organizers request a video recording of a game and the player can't provide it, they will then be disqualified immediately for failing to provide the recording.
Staff of DFL, Electronic Arts ("EA"), the organizers, their subsidiaries, branches, parent companies, representatives, advertising, sales, and PR agencies, along with their direct relatives, are ineligible to participate in the VBL International Series.
* The organizer reserves the right to request documentation proof in the form of a valid civil ID or its equivalent from players. The request will be done by email or phone. Failure to submit the requested documents will result in the player being automatically disqualified.

1st Place Winner of GCC Qualifier $250 USD and advance to the final of the VBL International Series in Germany (including travel for the winner only from a major airport near the winner's residence to Germany, hotel accommodation for the time span of the event in Dortmund, signed Bundesliga team or player jersey and reasonable catering, as well as local and ground transportation in Germany from/to the airport, and the hotel*)
2nd Place Winners – $150 USD and Signed Bundesliga team or player jersey
3rd Place Winners – $100 USD and Signed Bundesliga team or player jersey
4th Place Winners – Signed Bundesliga team or player jersey
VBL International Series main event will have more opportunities for larger prizes!
Terms of Travel
The travel must begin and end at the same major airport. The winners are solely responsible for the charge and security of ground transportation to/from the major airport at point of origin. The airline will be selected at the sole discretion of DFL. Once the tickets have been issued, any change fee must be paid by the winners if they wish to change flights or dates of travel.
All other expenses and any incidental costs which are not expressly indicated in these terms and conditions of participation have to be borne by the winners, especially but not limited to local and ground transportation from/to the major airport near the winners’ residence, telephone/internet, additional food, room-services charges, parking fees, insurances, visa, gratuities, etc.
For the respective country qualifiers and the Final of the VBL International Series in Dortmund, the prizing will be distributed by Apollo GG.
Players are expected to collect evidence of messages sent and received, as well as the final score at the end of every match.
Failure to produce sufficient evidence of rule breaking will result in the opponent being put through to the next round.
Evidence is expected to be time and date stamped, showing your opponent’s GT and in video format. Photo evidence is only acceptable for messages sent and received.
Competitors are advised to record their games at all times in case review is needed
In the case of a dispute or any issues, the organizer has the final say on all matters pertaining to the matter.
Any rule being broken may lead to disciplinary action. This action will be at the discretion of the organizer, Zawaya Gaming, and the situation will be taken into account. Punishment may include, but not be limited to, forfeits, replays, penalty points, kicks, temporary and permanent bans.
All competitors in any competition will be required to uphold the highest standards and observe common sportsmanship. Racism will NOT be tolerated. If you are seen to be racist in any capacity, then you will have action taken against you. Being abusive in any way towards fellow players or admins will also result in disciplinary action.
The event organizers reserve the right to disqualify any competitors for violation of the terms and conditions or disruptive behavior.
Any form of cheating, glitching, abusing in-game mechanics, or unsportsmanlike behavior may result in a forfeit of a Match Ban, or Ban from Events. Punishable unsportsmanlike behavior includes but is not limited to, excessive use of foul or degrading language. In addition, breaking any rule may result in a forfeit of a Game, forfeit of a Match, Verbal Warning or Ban from Events.
All players MUST be contactable via email and phone number.
No warm-up or practice games are permitted once the bracket is made live. Players must play at their designated time slots. Playing at a different time slot is not permitted unless approved by the organizer “Zawaya Gaming” in writing.

If you are unable to connect to your opponent you must contact an admin ASAP. Failure to connect may result in disqualification for both players after 60 minutes. If an admin has been advised, both players will have the remainder of the round to connect or both players will be removed. Ultimately, the decision to qualify or disqualify a player is done by the organizer.
When having problems with connection, we advise both players to contact an admin and then to Unfriend your opponent, reset your PC/Console, reset your routers and then re-add each other on to your friends list.
If you or your opponent lags out during the match; the match must be re-started, however, the score and time at the point when the player disconnected shall still stand and will be taken into consideration once match is over.

Both players must report the Match results within 10 minutes of its completion.
To report the Match results, players must report the Match Score accurately, along with a clear image for proof. The Match Score can then be reported i.e. 3-0 or 3-1, etc.
If both Players enter the result differently, a member of the Admin Team will be notified of the discrepancy and will intervene. The result will then be adjusted upon conclusion of the dispute.
Players found to be deliberately misentering results WILL face disciplinary action from the organizer.
If a Match is not played, and neither player reports a No Show, both players will be removed after the round has ended.
In the case of a dispute or any issues, the organizer has the final say on all matters pertaining to the matter.
Competitors must adhere to these Terms and Conditions.
Competitors will need to add each other as friends in the game.

Competitors expressly understand and agree that TOD shall not be liable, in law or in equity, to the competitors or to
any third party, for any direct, indirect, incidental, lost profits, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages,
including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses to any matter
relating to this Terms and Conditions.
The competitors agrees not to make any statement, or permit or authorize any statement to be made, which is
calculated or reasonably likely to damage the reputation or goodwill or cause other damage to TOD.
Neither these Terms & conditions nor any discussions or disclosures hereunder shall be deemed a commitment to any
business relationship, contract, or future dealing with the other party.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Qatar, and the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the State of Qatar
courts.
These may be subject to change at any time prior to the tournament. Please refer to the tournament guidelines, rules and conditions in the game card prior to the game time.
It is mandatory for all players taking part in the tournament to record their matches. Zawaya Gaming and its Partners hold all rights to use all streamed/recorded footage during and after the event.
Players must record all games they play during the qualifiers and playoffs.
Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to disqualification
The tournament rules may be subject to change at short notice or on the spot.
Every competitor acknowledges the right for the Administration to modify the rules and regulations for adjustments at any time without notice and if necessary overrule those to ensure fair play and integrity throughout the Tournament.
The event organizers have the final say on all matters pertaining to the event.
Any disputes or issues will be resolved by the organizers, and their decisions are considered final.
